It arises from the need to create spaces for people, according to their needs and those of the context in which they are located, thus avoiding the current production of spaces without appropriation, 'generic spaces for generic needs'.

Therefore, a methodological strategy is proposed that allows addressing territories in a comprehensive manner, understanding and knowing them in five systems to generate project solutions for public spaces suitable for them. These systems are categorized as: natural, built, social, normative, and with an emphasis on the public space specific to each territory.

To demonstrate its relevance, a design proposal is made at three scales in an informal neighborhood located in Bogotá known as EL CODITO.
