The sweeping lines of the original Starship Enterprise bridge, designed by art director Walter "Matt" Jefferies in 1964, convey a powerful sense of organization and functionality, enhancing the believability of the Star Trek television series. From the command chair at the center of the bridge, Captain Kirk could supervise the helm and navigation console, and have easy access to all the ship's departments. This not only presented a visually credible control room but also made for visually dynamic filmmaking due to all the interesting angles of Jefferies' design. Altogether, this creates a unique corner in this traditional house, transforming it into a cool home theater space that transports you to the final frontier of entertainment within the comfort of your home.
